On June 10, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan visited Studeničani Municipality and met with Mayor Ejup Abazi. They discussed strengthening local-level exchanges,  enhancing educational cooperation and improving people’s livelihood.

Ambassador Jiang briefed the Mayor on people-to-people exchanges with North Macedonia, in particular the training program China has provided for the latter on waste treatment. She noted that China stands ready to share its experiences in urban governance with Macedonian municipalities for the benefit of local residents.
